I can hardly believe it — Alex Dougharty Photography is officially celebrating its one-year anniversary! This journey started as a dream, encouraged by the love and support of my family and friends, and today, I’m reflecting on an incredible year of growth, creativity, and so many special memories captured.
Meet Your Photographer!
If you’re new here, I’d love to share a little bit about myself! I’m 29 years old, happily married, and a proud mom to two adorable kiddos and two playful pups. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018 with a degree in Visualization, and design has always been a huge part of my creative world. Before diving into photography full-time, I spent the last seven years working as a professional graphic designer.
Photography has been a passion of mine since serving on my high school year book staff, but it wasn’t until a year ago that I took the leap and turned that passion into a business. Little did I know just how fulfilling this path would be for my creative spirit! From capturing graduating seniors to meeting wonderful families and little ones, this year has been nothing short of magical.
These days, I’m embracing life as a stay-at-home mom, balancing motherhood with my photography business and freelance design work. It’s been an amazing journey to grow a business that allows me to pour my heart into creativity while also spending precious time with my little ones.
To all of my incredible clients, supporters, and fellow creatives — thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this adventure. Your encouragement and trust mean the world to me. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for Alex Dougharty Photography, and I look forward to capturing even more beautiful moments in the year ahead!
