When Alli first reached out to me for a family photography session in College Station, I was immediately touched by her story. As a friend from high school, it meant so much that she trusted me to capture this special memory for her family. She wanted to book a family session for her mom, to capture precious moments with her grandson, Tripp. With her sister, Sarah, and her family preparing for a big move from Texas to Alaska, this session was more than just photos. It was about documenting precious family moments all together to look back on before a bittersweet new chapter.
Capturing Beautiful Moments During an Outdoor Family Session
On the day of the shoot, we gathered at a beautiful outdoor location in College Station, Texas surrounded by golden light that gave the entire session a warm, dreamy feel. The love between Tripp and his grandma was simply heart-melting. Whether they were playing or snuggling close, you could feel the deep connection they share. I got a little emotional looking back on the moments we captured during their session!
We made sure to capture a variety of portraits: group photos of the whole family, individual shots of Tripp and his grandma, and sweet moments between Alli, her sister, and their mom. I know their family will treasure these images for years to come.
